About the role?
We are recruiting for a Production Technician for our Specialty Polymers and Resins manufacturing site in Newton Aycliffe.
- You will be working in-line with company procedures and SHE standards, to efficiently and safely meet company quality and production requirements.
- Daily activities will involve operating and monitoring the plant to ensure safe, efficient production and identifying any production issues and preparing equipment for maintenance.
- You will need to have a strong team working mentality, communication skills to report handovers and issues to the Production Shift Manager and problem-solving qualities to be able to get to the cause of any issue.
- The shift pattern is 12-hour shifts covering 24/7 operations as part of a small production shift team.
About you?
- An experienced production technician
- An effective team player with a high standards and attention to detail, a continuous improvement mindset
- You are able to proactively identify issues and work with others to resolve any production issues, sometimes in challenging circumstances.
- Previous experience in a similar chemical batch processing role and shift working is an advantage.
