The Site IT Operations Support provides quick assistance with common technical issues, manages support tickets, and helps users with basic hardware and software needs to ensure a stable and user-friendly IT environment. It also supports onboarding/offboarding processes and maintains accurate asset records to keep operations running smoothly.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver first-level and limited second-level service desk support, taking ownership of assigned incidents and service requests.
- Ensure timely responses and maintain clear, detailed ticket documentation for all communications and troubleshooting steps.
- Monitor system performance, manage user accounts and configurations, and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Escalate complex or unresolved problems to Site Operations Engineers or relevant CoE teams.
- Maintain support documentation and assist with IT asset management while providing basic IT guidance to end users.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Completed IT apprenticeship or at least two years of professional IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365, plus basic Entra ID user and group management skills.
- General understanding of TCP/IP networking, standard workplace hardware, and familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
- Awareness of essential IT security practices and common troubleshooting methods.
- Practical, hands-on problem solver with broad interest in IT and willingness to engage in continuous learning.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, communicative, and customer-focused, with the ability to follow processes and escalate when necessary.
- Confident in Microsoft 365, Windows environments, collaboration tools, and quick to adopt new digital technologies.
