About the Role:
Are you someone who thrives on planning mechanical TAR scopes and ensuring every event runs safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget—even when late or unexpected work arises?
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop execution work pack documents for mechanical TAR scope, which include preventive, breakdown (inc. fabrication repairs), and project activities.
- Work pack documents typically include the following (as applicable):
- Job Detail
- Hazard identification and mitigation measures.
- Detailed job plan.
- P&ID identifying location of scope / assets.
- Annotated photograph of scope / assets.
- Plot plan identifying location of scope / assets.
- Additional related engineering drawings
- Joint integrity details.
- Bill of Materials.
- Temporary Equipment requirements.
- Scaffold (access / lifting) details.
- Insulation (removal / refitting) details.
Your Skills and Experience:
Education (preferred)
- Completion of an engineering apprenticeship
- NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance (or equivalent)
- HNC in mechanical engineering discipline (or equivalent)
Training (preferred)
- Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) awareness.
- Mechanical Joint Integrity (MJI10).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development / technical training.
- Confined space entry.
Experience (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience, preferably in the Petro/Chemical industry.
- Planning of maintenance activities.
- Experience of working within a CMMS system (preferably Maximo).
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of scheduling software (MS Project, PrimaVera P6).
- Acceptance of work permits (inc. Hot Work, Excavation and Confined Space Entry).
