Mitra Bio is building the future of skincare through epigenetics, longevity science, and data. Backed by Khosla Ventures, Illumina, and Innovate UK, we help people better understand their skin over time using simple, non-invasive skin sampling and advanced data analysis. Our goal is to make highly personalised skincare more effective, accessible, and science-driven.

We are looking for a skilled software engineer to help the Engineering Team refactor the ‘research-level’ code into production-ready code.

  • Expanding and optimising our cloud & AI infrastructure and data pipeline architecture
  • Optimising data flow and collection throughout our custom-built Clinical Management Interface (CMI)
  • Partnering closely with the Data Science Team to support seamless integration with their pipelines

Minimum 5 years professional software development experience

  • Expert proficiency in Python in software development and data science/processing
  • Proven experience in refactoring 'research-level' code into production-ready software
  • Proven experience working with large data, data models, deploying and using AI models
  • Software skills including: OOP, test-driven development, unit testing (pytest), Git, CI/CD
  • Clear technical writing/documenting
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (ideally AWS)
