Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst or Consultant
Salary: £29,000 - £40,000 (depending on role and experience)
Location: Hybrid (2-4 days in the head office in South Manchester)

Position Overview: Our Cyber Security team play a critical role in implementing and managing our bespoke security services for a diverse portfolio of clients. To be successful in this role you will work closely with our team of Consultants to support the delivery of our portfolio of services. Depending on your experience, the role may or may not be client-facing, however there will be times when you may need to directly liaise with clients via email and phone.
The successful candidate will be expected to support the delivery team by:
- Support the cyber security training team by managing launching of training and delivering of reports.
- Creation and delivery of custom simulated phishing campaigns using our in-house phishing platform.
- Monitoring and assisting with responding to client queries via phone and email.
- Monitoring and assisting the analysis of potentially malicious emails from clients.
- Creation of cyber security policy packs for clients.
- Managing the building and maintenance of physical vulnerability scanning hardware.
- Delivering vulnerability assessment audits from setup through to reporting and debriefing.
- Liaising with clients and the internal analyst team to build custom simulated phishing campaigns using our in-house phishing platform.
- Responding to client queries via phone and email.
- Supporting clients during cyber incidents with investigations and reporting.
- Supporting clients with certifications and accreditations.
Requirements & Skills: We are open to taking applications from individuals who are either new to the cyber security discipline, or those with 2-3 years who are looking for a new role. For those who are new to cyber security, your drive, determination and eagerness to learn are more important than background, qualifications or experience, and we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following traits:
- Driven and eager to learn.
- Equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail.
- A passion for IT and cyber security.
- Capable of managing your own workloads and meeting deadlines.
For a consultant role, you should be comfortable engaging with clients at different levels within organisations, from technical teams through the partners and directors of firms.
Experience in either configuring or auditing any of all of the below are also key to delivering our services:
- Email Platforms (Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Google Workspace)
- Email Security (Mimecast, Barracuda, Proofpoint)
- Vulnerability scanning (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7)
- Anti-Virus/Endpoint Security (ESET, BitDefender, Sophos, SentinelOne, Windows Defender)
