We're looking for a Fire Risk Assessor who will carry out high‐quality fire risk assessments on behalf of our clients across a wide variety of sites, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and delivering excellent service standards.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out suitable and comprehensive fire risk assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and client requirements.
  • Conduct site‐based inspections across industrial, commercial and residential premises within agreed timescales.
  • Complete fire risk assessments using a digital app on a tablet or mobile phone.
  • Communicate regularly with the back‐office team to support report completion and data coordination.
  • Act as a professional representative of Mitie while on client sites, including travelling across the UK and staying away from home when required.

Required Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate (full) or another recognised fire safety qualification, with evidence of experience and competence in undertaking fire risk assessments.
  • Proven track record of producing high‐quality, detailed fire risk assessment reports.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can‐do and hands‐on approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, dealing directly with customers in a professional manner.
