Welder required to repair pallets and stillages in workshop.

Main Duties:

  • Repairing / modifying on a daily basis damaged various size and shape mild steel pallets / containers.
  • Performing preventive maintenance checks in order to maintain the good/safe condition of pallets.
  • May be required to attend small emergency jobs around site.

Using tools:

  • 5 / 9-inch angle grinder
  • Drill / pillar drill
  • Plasma cutter
  • Manual tools such as spanner / socket set, lump/sledgehammer, screwdriver, mole grips etc
  • MIG welder

What we are looking for:

  • FLT license preferable but not essential
  • Oxy/Acetylene experience preferable but not essential

Qualifications:

  • NVQ LEVEL2-3 in welding or equivalent.
  • MIG welding experience
