Main duties include the management of waste contracts for a number of Key Industrial clients, predominantly in Northern England.
- Line management of the on-site operation team.
- Maintain and develop client relationships with a view to maintaining and growing waste services.
- Work with the Operations Director and teams in identifying innovative opportunities for services beyond traditional waste collection.
- Maintain, monitor and develop the relationship with all relevant subcontractors.
- Develop and implement strategies for service enhancement and cost savings.
- Monitor quality and accuracy of Management Information reports produced and submitted by the MI team.
- Monitor quality and accuracy of invoices produced and submitted by the Finance team.
- Monitor quality and accuracy of waste data on Mitie Wastes WR1 system.
- Submit and implement strategic waste management plans in line with our client's environmental and accreditation objectives.
- Ensure client compliance with current and future environmental & Health and Safety regulations and legislation.
- Audit both suppliers and clients' sites.
- Ensure that contracts are run safely and efficiently to the required standard.
- Liaise with clients and monitor site operations if appropriate.
- Act as the first point of contact for client queries on waste-related activities.
- Attend client meetings as required.
