We are looking for a School Caretaker who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Contract: Permanent

Type: Full Time

Hours: 40 per week

Pay: £12.81 per hour

Location: Hill Top Primary Academy, Batley Road, West Ardsley, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, WF3 1HD

Role Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
  • Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
  • Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
  • Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.
