At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a workplace where you can thrive and be your best every day. We are looking for a Water Technician – Level 2 to deliver high‑quality water hygiene and compliance services for a diverse client base.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct closed‑system chemical testing and sampling.
- Carry out chlorine dioxide monitoring.
- Undertake domestic water sampling and temperature monitoring.
- Perform cold‑water storage tank inspections.
- Complete shower descaling.
- Deliver additional Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks relating to Legionella control.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date water compliance logbooks in line with regulations, guidelines, and company policy.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in compliance servicing, Legionella monitoring, or water treatment.
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of closed‑system water testing (essential).
- Experience in cooling‑water analysis (desirable but not essential).
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Basic IT literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time‑management skills.
- A proactive, detail‑focused approach to work.
