You must have a minimum of two years\' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting. Suitable environments include Accident & Emergency (A&E), General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or the Ambulance Service. This experience should demonstrate your ability to deliver high-quality care, work under pressure, and manage diverse clinical situations effectively.
You must have a Driving licence.
In collaboration with the Police, you\'ll serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client.
The role requires the flexibility to work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.
Responsibilities
- Provide healthcare in custody suites in collaboration with the Police, including round-the-clock coverage as per client schedules.
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical and custodial settings, under pressure.
Requirements
- RN, RGN or (RMN with dual registration): 2 years post-qualification β Band 5 minimum
- Paramedic: 2 years post qualification
- Must have RTW, Lived in UK British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months
- All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
Salary and Schedule
- Salary: Β£41,000 per year
- Β£ bonus when completed 12 months service
- Full-time β fixed shift pattern in a team rota: 4 shifts on and 4 days off: 06:45 to 19:00 for 2-day shifts followed by 2 night shifts 18:45 to 07:00. Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
- Part-time β fixed shifts: 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts and 18:45 to 07:00 for nights, with a team rota pattern of 2-day shifts on, 8 days off, 2 nights, 4 days off. Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
- These patterns are contractually agreed with the customer; there may be opportunities for part-time or mutually agreed βBankβ contracts. All employees are required to work full shifts, and part-time employees may carry out some night shifts.
- Average overtime β variable and dependent on assignment
- NMC/HCPC Registration paid
