We design, install, and maintain all types of automatically operating fire extinguishing systems and electronically activated fire detection and alarm systems for large projects through to servicing small standalone products. As the BIM Technician you will be responsible for providing Revit support to the Design Engineers.
Duties:
- Responding to and completing clients' PQQ's (Pre-Qualification Questionnaires) during tender stage
- Assisting with the model set-up, including templates, coordinates, model “bridging”, etc.
- Organising the CAD/Revit libraries
- Producing and ensuring all the Revit families are compliant and COBie ready
- Implementing COBie information into the Revit model (following completion of the design) to meet clients' requirements and timescales
- Liaising with Designers and clients as required
Candidate Skill Requirements:
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit Modelling
- In depth experience with COBie inputting into Revit
- Experience CAD operator
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO (Building Information Modelling (BIM))
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to comply and maintain company's and/or clients' BIM/Revit/CAD standards and workflows
- Excellent attention to detail
