Job objectives and responsibilities
- Work as part of the Stores team
- Supervision of Prisoner with bin collections, litter picking, laundry and stores deliveries
- Stock control
- Main duties:
- Assist with goods in and out.
- Assist with orders and deliveries to all departments.
- Liaise effectively with other departments.
- Store person general duties – General stores, laundry, back gate security, grounds maintenance.
- Assist with the bins and grounds
- General labourer duties
Person Specification
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise
- IT skills
- Lives close to Brixton
- Ability to pass Prison Service vetting.
Health and Safety responsibilities
- Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system;
