ROLE: Compliance Manager

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours,

LOCATION: Cardiff, Swansea, Newport

Mitie are recruiting for a results driven Compliance / Regional Manager to support the operational management across a portfolio of around 100 properties on the Department for Transport (DfT) facilities management contract.

The role is responsible for all areas of service delivery to all affected properties within the geographical area.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage the facilities management service delivery throughout your geographical area in line with contract obligations and service standards,
  • Ensure works are conducted in accordance with statutory requirements and corporate policies including, Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, Environment & Sustainability and Employment Legislation,
  • Embed a zero accidents culture of Health and Safety within the contract
  • Liaise with senior client business unit representatives on all areas of service delivery, performance improvement and service development,
  • Ensure that the budget is adhered to, and all levels of expenditure are within the set contract targets.
  • Develop and grow the business by actively encouraging a proactive and strategic business development attitude with all levels of employees.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Facilities Management service delivery across a diverse multiple site portfolio,
  • Excellent people communication skills: ability to manage and develop positive relationships,
  • Understanding of business critical / technical environments
  • Ability to demonstrate success of implementing best practice QSHE and BCP systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of identifying, implementing, and managing innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of H&S related to FM services.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
