About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer to help protect our client's people, property, and assets. You will follow the site's Assignment Instructions, maintain high standards of safety and service, and play a key role in delivering a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all company policies, legal requirements, and site procedures.
- Carry out all tasks listed in the Assignment Instructions.
- Review Assignment Instructions regularly and suggest improvements.
- Wear a valid SIA licence at all times while on duty.
- Complete all mandatory training and additional courses as required.
- Work in an organised, professional, and compliant manner.
Training & Development
- Complete all required competency training.
- Take part in ongoing professional development.
- Use technology effectively to support daily tasks.
- Renew your SIA licence at least 16 weeks before expiry.
Security & Safety
- Report any hazards or safety concerns immediately.
- Stay alert to risks and respond appropriately to prevent disruption or damage.
- Use good judgement and involve others if a situation becomes unsafe.
- Maintain professionalism during challenging situations.
- Record incidents clearly and accurately.
- Follow schedules and demonstrate commitment to the client and company.
- Make check calls at required times.
- Contact emergency services and the Communication Centre when needed.
