Retail Security Officer- Lidl
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Mitie is looking for Retail security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Objectives and Responsibilities:
-Work to the Assignment Instructions ensuring that all activity is accurately recorded on the correct documents, in line with both the Client\’s and the Company\’s Quality Procedures
-To follow the site-specific Risk Assessments ensuring all activities are completed in a safe manner
-Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards as an employee of MITIE and adopt a total quality approach to every aspect of your work, colleagues and clients
-To create a safe working environment, free from crime and health and safety related issues for colleagues, contractors and customers
-To add a polite greeting and excellent customer service
-Provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors and customers
Main Duties:
-To deliver industry leading customer service
-To be clean, tidy and properly dressed wearing full uniform
-To deter violence and public order offences
-To conduct patrols of the store
-Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
-Liaise with the store management teams
-To report incidents and crime through our leading technology
-Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store
-To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
Who are we looking for?
-Experience of delivering Customer Service
-Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal
-Adaptable communication style to meet the needs of different people groups
-Ability to work in a fast-moving services business
-Capability in the use of technology
-Good attention to detail
-High level of enthusiasm and passion
-Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
-Public Space Surveillance SIA licence is desirable but not essential
