Mitie is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional value and service within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Main Duties
- Lead on the procurement and tendering of subcontract variations and Lifecycle works.
- Lead on development of budget estimates for presentation to customers.
- Liaise with the client to establish value for money on billable works projects and budgets.
- Assist with management of financial forecasts, supply chain contract management, and procurement approaches.
- Value interim and completed works and arrange payments.
Person Specification
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry or a similar role.
- Degree-level qualification in quantity surveying.
- Knowledge of contract management principles, including NEC suite of contracts.
- Conversant in risk management processes, mitigation, and reporting.
