Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Location: Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley
Reporting to: Head of Projects
Mitie is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional value and service within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the procurement and tendering of subcontract variations and Lifecycle works.
• Lead on development of budget estimates for presentation to customers.
• Liaise with the client to establish value for money on billable works projects and budgets.
• Assist with management of financial forecasts, supply chain contract management, and procurement approaches.
• Value interim and completed works and arrange payments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years\’ experience in the industry or a similar role.
• Degree-level qualification in quantity surveying.
• Knowledge of contract management principles, including NEC suite of contracts.
• Conversant in risk management processes, mitigation, and reporting.
