Project Manager - EV role at Mitie. Rock Power Connections is described as an Independent Connections Provider (ICP) focusing on design and installation of electricity connections for commercial properties and EV charging infrastructure. The role involves managing ICP and EV projects, overseeing construction, installation, and commissioning of new electricity connections up to 33kV, as well as EV infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of ICP and EV projects from design through to completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations
- Coordinate with clients, DNOs/iDNOs, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet milestones and specifications
- Plan and monitor project programmes, milestones, and deliverables
- Maintain financial control, including managing variations and accurate cost forecasting
- Procure labour, materials, and equipment within budget
- Prepare work instructions and ensure teams are fully briefed
- Conduct site and supplier audits, addressing any non-conformances
- Ensure compliance with DNO/iDNO specifications, NRSWA, HAUC, and company policies
- Oversee health, safety, and quality standards on all projects
- Complete final quality audits and ensure accurate documentation for DNO/iDNO submissions
- Promote continuous improvement and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure full UK driving licence is held
- Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
