Due to increased business wins, Mitie Security is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Vetting Co-Ordinators to provide essential administrative support to our Vetting Team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in administration who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Type: 5 Month FTC - Full Time - Immediate start available
Location: Brackmills Industrial Estate, Northampton NN4 7SL
Salary: £24,637
Hours: 37.5 Mon - Fri 8:30am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of administrative duties to support the efficient operation of the Team.
- Manage data input and maintain accurate records in accordance with internal processes.
- Coordinate reference checks and manage communications with referees and applicants.
- Follow vetting process flows to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation and data handling adhere to confidentiality and data protection standards.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in administrative work.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage tasks independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Previous experience in a vetting or background screening role.
- Understanding of DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) processes.
