What You’ll Be Doing
- Learning fundamental carpentry and joinery skills including cutting, shaping and assembling wood and other materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Assisting with routine maintenance and repair tasks such as doors, windows and frameworks.
- Working alongside your mentor to gain hands-on experience on your client site.
- Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, making safety and sustainability a priority in every task.
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery qualification which normally runs for 24 months. You will be fully supported by our partnered college attending 1-day per week to achieve this qualification by having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office. Our dedicated Apprenticeship Team will support you every step of the way, helping you make the most of your opportunities and to achieve the goals you already have - and those you have yet to discover!

- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4-9 or equivalent) or Scottish National 5 certificates (Grade A-C). Certificates must be provided at the interview stage.
