Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a high-profile commercial environment requiring critical and non-critical maintenance. Our clients has a Critical CNI site in The Romford area and offices in Stratford. Travel within an Hour of these locations is preferred in an Emergency. Candidates must have a strong technical understanding and must also be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the commercial building services environment. Main Duties
Close liaison and working relationship with the Client and Mitie Team Members. Be the First point of escalation for the Shift Engineers in and out of Hours. Prepared to work OOH for emergencies and planned events. Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner. Act as the Duty Authorised Person (LV) whilst on Site. Compile quotations to client for remedial and improvements. Have a detailed understanding on Trend BMS systems. Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work. Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the system to always ensure 100% compliance.
What we are looking for
City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 Electrical installation or recognised equivalent. 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Registration or Recognised equivalent. Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services. Previous HV and or LV switching experience and training preferred. AP13 and or AP15. Knowledge and full understanding of UPS systems and Scada PMS and PME systems. Health & Safety Training. Previous Supervisory/Management experience is required. A good understanding and experience with Maintenance of Mechanical Plant. Chillers, Down flow A/C , Chilled Water systems and PUMPS. Compliance awareness L8 , Statutory and Mandatory Inspections.
