Cliniwaste, a leading name in the UK clinical waste sector with the country's largest capacity for alternative treatment, is looking for a dedicated and reliable Waste Operative to join their team at the Bradford facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that the highest standards of service and compliance are met.

As Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the site, including:

  • Adhering to company and legislative requirements
  • Carrying out health and safety checks
  • Accurately booking in waste on the weigh bridge through the Trace System
  • Managing essential paperwork
  • Liaising with the wider Cliniwaste team
  • Offering hands-on support by helping drivers unload and reload vehicles
  • Performing bin maintenance
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly environment through general housekeeping tasks
  • Palletising waste
  • Washing bins
  • Operating various company machinery

Ideal candidates should have excellent communication and organisational skills, be self-motivated, able to multitask efficiently, and capable of solving problems independently. Experience or knowledge of the clinical waste industry is desirable but not essential. Competence with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), legible handwriting, and a basic understanding of English are important for the role.
