About the Role
Mitie are seeking a highly motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team on a prestigious government contract. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong technical background or for those at the beginning of their career looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience and knowledge from a supportive team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Lighting: Inspection, testing, and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Water Hygiene: Carry out water hygiene tasks including temperature monitoring, flushing, and sampling in line with regulations.
- HVAC Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- BMS (Building Management Systems): Monitor and adjust controls for optimal building performance.
- Plumbing: Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures.
- General Fabric Works: Undertake minor building fabric repairs and upkeep to maintain site standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for emergency lighting and water hygiene.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and BMS controls.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
