5 days per week, 7.5‑hour shifts. Permanent contract.
Role Overview
Supervisor in our warehouse cleaning and waste team. Supervise/operate machinery, enforce hygiene and safety procedures, maintain equipment, assist with waste monitoring, report faults, liaise with Site Manager, and handle ad‑hoc duties.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily and weekly machinery checks and report faults to the Site Manager.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed and that equipment and materials are kept clean, safe and secured.
- Monitor waste production using weekly checklists and monitoring procedures.
- Respond to customer complaints and support Site Manager with shift operations.
- Participate in training sessions and remain aware of statutory fire and safety regulations.
- Perform ad‑hoc cleaning duties as required by business needs.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Strong customer focus and service skills.
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
- Initiative, teamwork and an awareness of Health & Safety legislation.
- Communicative English; may be required to take an English assessment.
- Completion of Basic DBS Check and drug/alcohol screening.
