Key responsibilities:

Role Responsibilities:

  • You will be carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair works across electrical systems and building services. Responsibilities include faultfinding, diagnosis and repair of distribution boards, motors, pumps, building management systems, emergency lighting, and general electrical plant.
  • You will also support mechanical maintenance tasks such as HVAC systems, pumps, valves, air handling units, basic plumbing, and basic fabric works.
  • You will also be included in the on-call rota.
  • You will have strong electrical faultfinding and maintenance experience, ideally gained within facilities management or commercial or industrial building services environments.
  • All work must be completed in full compliance with BS 7671, Mitie technical standards, and statutory requirements, with job progress and documentation accurately maintained.

Required Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
  • 18th edition

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Excellent problem solver and fault-finding ability

Organised and methodical with the ability to multi-task.

High attention to detail, compliance and service report writing.

Approachable team player, able to work on own initiative and with colleagues and clients alike.

Willingness to participate in an on-call rota - one in every 4/5 weeks.

Experience in computer PPM maintenance systems such as Maximo is desirable.

Familiar with mobile technology, computer literate with experience in Word and Excel spread sheets.
