We are looking for an experienced Mobile Engineer – commercial Gas Bias, to work with a range of Mitie clients within the Local Government and Education Sector, providing all relevant day to day Hard Services activities, including carrying out Planned, Reactive, Quoted and Minor Works on the Building Services Assets, providing an end to end Proactive and Reactive Service to our end line user, ensuring their Buildings and Estates remain Open, Safe, Fit and Compliant.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for ensuring our Clients Buildings and Estates remain Open, Safe Fit and Compliant, through completion of both Planned and Reactive maintenance tasks.
- You will provide a partnering style maintenance service that ensures all Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators are met, feedback is provided timely to our onsite contacts and colleagues, liaising with both contractors and/or external suppliers as is required.
- Systems feedback is mandatory through both Manual (paper) and Digital (mobile) platforms.
- Basic Reporting, Quoting and Condition Appraisal will be necessary also.
- Your attention to detail must be of the highest standard as should your client facing skills.
- Your prestation on site should truly represent that: ‘Our customers' Business is our Business.
- Your work should be carried out to the highest standard, working in line with all Legislation, Standards and Approved Codes of Practices.
- Safety on site towards all building users is of paramount importance.
- Deficiencies in systems, services and or equipment, which may result in personnel injury or environmental damage must not be ignored, should be reported and all Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAW), Company Policies and Procedures followed.
- You will be responsible for ensuring own work and the work of those under your supervision, will be completed in a safe and diligent manner.
Suitable training will be provided to enhance suitable candidates, to maximise both their existing and proposed/agreed new skills required to exceed service delivery expectations.
Skills & Experience
- COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1)
- TPCP1 & TPCP1A
- ICPN1
- Appliances CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1
- Domestic gas tickets also preferable
- IT literate, with experience using the MSOffice suite (Word, Excel, TEAMS)
- Ability to maintain a safe working environment, as per HASAW 1974)
- A minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience in commercial environments
- Strong understanding of Statutory Compliance in Building Services Engineering
- Full, clean driving Licence
