The role of the Reprographics Operative is responsible for the operation of all reprographic equipment and to provide an efficient reprographic service, scheduling and prioritising job requests. The post holder will be responsible for the successful provision and delivery of Reprographic support services to meet the needs of the customer.
Main Duties
- Produce printed or electronic documents by means of digital printing or document scanning.
- Produce finished documents to the customer's specifications as instructed on the Job Sheet including document collation, paper-folding, guillotining, stapling, bookmaking, binding and laminating.
- Discuss jobs with the customer to ensure work is completed to the required standard and on time.
- Discuss jobs with the internal Graphic Design Team to ensure work is completed to the clients' specifications.
- Operate and undertake general maintenance of reprographic equipment i.e., change toner, clear paper jams, etc.
- General husbandry of the working environment and equipment to include interaction with maintenance providers when defects are identified.
- Carry out inventory checks and maintain stock control, ordering paper stock, inks and consumables.
- Collate and maintain a spreadsheet of the monthly output, reporting figures to Line Manager.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with current Health and Safety Regulations, Copy Right and the General Data Protection Regulations.
- Undertake any additional tasks as determined by the Line Manager.
