The role of Lifecycle Manager is essential within the Communities Projects team and will facilitate and support the creation of Lifecycle plans, support the delivery of condition surveys, ensure the delivery of rigorous asset-related cost planning and enhance contractual compliance across the Healthcare Business Unit.
The role of Lifecycle Manager will report into the Head of Lifecycle Realisation and will work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders such as the Projects team, FM Operational teams, central support teams and Project Co. / SPV representatives.
Main Duties- Work with the Head of Lifecycle Realisation and Mitie FM Teams to ensure contractual compliance in respect of Lifecycle and asset management obligations across the Mitie Communities business - with a key focus across the Healthcare sector.
- Assist the Head of Lifecycle Realisation with both internal and external data collection and reviewing of processes to ensure compliance with Mitie's contractual obligations and reduce risk.
- Continuously monitor and ensure Lifecycle spend is appropriate to the needs of the individual contract and does not adversely affect Mitie or its clients.
- Responsibility for the effective management and review of all Lifecycle information - such as condition surveys, Lifecycle models, forecast expenditure and contract specific asset information.
- Ownership of monthly and annual Lifecycle reports for internal monitoring purposes as well as onward transmission to the Mitie Communities Executive Team.
- Ensure Lifecycle related activities comply with applicable HTM's and HBN's.
- Responsibility for the alignment of all appropriate governance processes for all proposed Lifecycle activities - including Lifecycle delivery via internal Mitie Projects Teams as well as updates to various contractual documentation.
- Provide strategic support to each Healthcare contract and the Mitie Healthcare Executive team to enhance performance and growth strategies.
- Deliver effective communications with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance relationships with Mitie FM Teams and Client Representatives across the Business Unit.
- Experience in Lifecycle / cost planning and reviewing contractual obligations within PFI contracts.
- Comfortable in reporting within a complex, commercial and multi-faceted organisation.
- A strong commercial and process acumen.
- Experience in the Facilities Management & PFI sector (essential).
- An understanding and experience of the Healthcare sector (essential) - in particular around HTM's and HBN's and associated regulations and standards.
- A proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as on their own.
