We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to support the industry team in delivering high quality products with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing electrical and mechanical assistance across industry production assets.
- Supporting the FM team as and when required.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults quickly and safely to reduce downtime.
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvement tasks.
- Assisting the team in developing a robust maintenance model for the site.
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
Requirements
- You’ll need to have a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent level Qualification.
- Minimum level 3 NVQ in Engineering.
- A pro-active approach to preventative maintenance and a logical approach to fault finding.
- Health & Safety must be at the forefront of everything you do.
- A self-motivated, good communicator with a positive mindset.
- Confident to work alone as well as part of a team.
Advantageous if you have
- Experience working in production maintenance.
- Knowledge or experience of RCM and FMEA methods.
- Advanced Fault Finding and Root Cause Analysis experience.
- PLC familiarity.
