We're looking for an Asbestos Analyst who will support our operations by ensuring high‑quality asbestos monitoring, reporting and compliance in line with company procedures and regulations.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all asbestos‑related work is carried out in accordance with company Group Procedure Document ‘Air Sampling, Fibre Counting, 4SC and Certificate for Reoccupation procedures' – GPD 4 and other associated documentation.
  • Comply with the Company General Quality Procedures with support from the Quality Manager.
  • Provide quality services and information to clients, must have knowledge of all current asbestos and associated regulations.
  • Report to the Line Manager any occurrences during business activity that may require reporting to our insurers or legal advice.
  • Attend operational team meetings and refresher training as and when required.
  • Arrange meetings with the client or contractor as and when required.
  • Ensure that reports are completed in accordance with timescales set and to the required standard.
  • Participate in the internal and external audit programme for fibre counting, airborne fibre monitoring and 4SC as required.
  • Compile recommendations and technically review reports as necessary.
  • Provide technical advice as and when required.
  • Attend training courses as and when required.
  • Prepare health and safety risk assessments and assist in ensuring other staff under their control adhere to the assessment.
  • Carry out any other duties required as part of the overall strategy to achieve the company's objectives.
  • Must have demonstrable experience within the asbestos field and meet the requirements for the role as set out in company procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • The BOHS P403 and BOHS P404
  • The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 3 Certificate for Asbestos Air Monitoring Analysts
  • The BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required
