We're looking for an Asbestos Auditor to join Tersus Consultancy (part of Mitie), supporting the delivery of high-quality asbestos surveying audits and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site witness auditing, reinspection auditing, and desktop reviews of survey reports.
  • Support and develop field-based teams through training, mentoring, and auditing activity.
  • Monitor staff authorisation levels and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Lead investigations into corrective, preventative, and follow-up actions, including complaint handling.
  • Work collaboratively with Quality Managers and wider teams to maintain UKAS accreditation standards and meet client KPIs.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience within the asbestos field and ability to meet company procedural requirements.
  • Hold a recognised qualification such as BOHS P402, RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying, or BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
