We're looking for a Fire Stopper to join our growing team, working across a range of live and occupied sites. The role involves carrying out high-quality fire stopping works in line with current building regulations and manufacturer guidance.
Key responsibilities:
- Installation of passive fire protection systems including penetrations, ablative coatings, fire collars, wraps and sealing
- Working on live environments while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping
- Ensuring works are completed in line with Building Regulations and relevant British Standards
- Completing clear and accurate job records, including photographs and check sheets
- Liaising with site managers, supervisors and other trades as needed
What we're looking for:
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (or working towards)
- Knowledge of current fire safety and building regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Full UK driving licence preferred
