Mitie is looking for a confident Security Supervisor to join our team in Leeds. This is more than a shift-based role—it’s an opportunity to lead, protect, and grow within a respected security organisation. Are you ready to step into a role where your experience matters and your career can progress?
You’ll work 12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rota, rotating between days and nights. There are opportunities to work additional shifts when available. Pay rate: £13.57 - £14.61 per hour. Does a structured schedule with flexibility for overtime suit your lifestyle?
As a Security Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day security operations, support and guide your team, and ensure high standards are maintained across the site. You’ll be responsible for protecting client assets while acting as a professional point of contact for both Mitie management and the client. You’ll lead by example, remaining calm under pressure and ensuring a safe, secure environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Assignment Instructions are followed at all times.
- Maintain compliance with legal, company, and client requirements.
- Supervise staff and support daily site operations.
- Identify and report hazards and security risks.
- Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies.
- Complete accurate reports and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, control rooms, and management.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Valid SIA Front Line Licence
- Good written and spoken English.
- Basic IT skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
- Previous security experience (supervisory experience preferred)
- Minimum 5 years UK residency
Desirable
- SC Clearance
