About the Role
Mitie is proud to work in partnership with the London Fire Brigade, delivering high-quality facilities management services that help keep London's critical services running smoothly. We are now looking for a professional, welcoming, and proactive Corporate Receptionist to join our on-site team. As the first point of contact, you will deliver a warm, professional, and efficient front-of-house service for staff, visitors, and contractors. Representing both Mitie and the London Fire Brigade, you'll ensure every interaction reflects our high standards of service while maintaining a welcoming and well-organised environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, courteous, and professional welcome to all visitors and staff.
- Manage reception systems including visitor management and meeting room bookings.
- Handle administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry, email correspondence, and document preparation.
- Coordinate meeting room schedules, ensuring spaces are prepared with the right equipment and materials.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is always clean, organised, and presentable.
- Support the wider site team with administrative tasks.
- Undertake Fire Warden Duties in accordance with agreed processes.
- Act in accordance with all health and safety and security policies.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is confident, customer-focused, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You'll need to be highly organised and able to multitask in a busy, high-profile environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in receptionist, workplace co-ordinator or similar role (essential).
- Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional appearance and commitment to high service standards.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
- SIA Door Supervisor license is essential.
