We're looking for a Mechanical HVAC Engineer who will work collaboratively as part of the estates team to provide a full operation, maintenance, engineering and building service that meets statutory and contractual obligations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance to HVAC systems across the estate.
  • Perform diagnostic checks, fault finding and repairs using multiskilled knowledge and experience.
  • Ensure assets are maintained in accordance with contractual requirements, HTMs, HBMs and manufacturer's instructions.
  • Accurately complete all work-related documentation and update CAFM systems in a timely manner.
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Served a recognised trade training scheme to NVQ Level 2 minimum (or equivalent) in plumbing or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in a maintenance environment (hospital or healthcare experience advantageous).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
