The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Ensure all Statutory and Mandatory elements of the contract and relevant standards are achieved.

Lead for all hard service disciplines across site.

Provide dedicated support to the Facilities Management team ensuring the highest standard of services are provided to the Thales client and customers.

Support the FM to improve and enhance stakeholder relationships.

Provide FM resilience across the Crawley site.

Optimise systems and processes to maximise efficiencies of teams and reduce energy consumption.

Develop understanding of the contract commercial and deliverable frameworks as part of development.

Continual management of PPM and reactive tasks, ensuring tasks are completed in line with the agreed SLA and KPIs.

Operational and line management of the engineering team to ensure best productivity.

PDA training, development and auditing with on site team.

Drive & encourage 100% PDA usage.

Complete and maintain the training matrix for site engineers.

Lead on developing, supporting and mentoring engineers to maximise their potential.

Management of sub-contractors, ensuring they are booked in and works carried out in line with contractual requirements.

Management of additional sub-contractor work to ensure the scope of works is agreed and signed off, and arrange for quotes and works to be undertaken.

Ensure all Subcontractor RAMS are fully reviewed, recorded and permits are issued.

Ensure correct and compliant certification is uploaded into Maximo, Sharepoint and site files as required.

Take a pro-active role in engaging with clients, developing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction is maximised.

Ensure all self-delivered and subcontractor activities are managed in line with Mitie's Safe systems of Work processes and policies, including the issuing of access permits and permits to work.

Assist the FM in producing monthly reports.

Support the implementation of the One team ethos across all service lines.

Input and support key projects and initiatives.

Take ownership of Mitie standards and health and safety across the teams.

Carry out monthly reviews, huddles and audits for hard services.

Enhance the service delivery model with cross functional working and team building.

Build and create a proactive customer focused delivery model for all hard service contracts.

Ability to obtain, evaluate and challenge quotations from suppliers.

Lead on energy saving initiatives and constant improvements and provide input to the quarterly energy performance reviews.

Attend and represent Mitie in client meetings when required.

Report technical issues to contract Hard Service and Energy Lead and request support when needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in M&E industries.
  • Experience in dealing with various mechanical, electrical and specialist systems (liquid nitrogen, oxygen monitoring, compressed air).
  • Experience in working with and managing a team of multi skilled engineers.
  • Water management experience desirable.
  • Mechanical Engineering qualification.
  • Strong customer care focus.
  • Health and Safety awareness and knowledge (IOSH Working Safely).
  • Full and Clean driving Licence.
  • Able to work at heights.
  • Smart in appearance.
  • Able to process administration tasks associated with the role.
  • Committed, reliable and flexible.
  • Able to work as part of a team and to work on their own.
  • High levels of communication skills.
