HOURS: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday (with on call) - 7:30am - 4pm

LOCATION: Portsmouth (3 sites)

We're looking for an Engineering Supervisor (Electrical) to oversee planned and reactive maintenance across three client sites, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on supervisory role, combining technical expertise with leadership and compliance responsibility.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervise and deliver electrical maintenance and repair works across multiple client sites
  • Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed in line with schedules and contractual requirements
  • Lead, manage and support a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with Mitie and site Health & Safety policies
  • Supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS and site rules
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and actively participate in training, appraisals and development activities

Required Qualifications

  • City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent electrical qualification
  • Ability to obtain SC Clearance

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in Supervising or Management in Facilities/Engineering
  • Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance and repair work
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work or relevant compliance understanding
  • IT literacy, with the ability to accurately record work and documentation
  • Willingness to join a call-out rota and hold a full UK driving licence
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS/ECC and IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
