We're looking for an Engineering Supervisor (Electrical) to oversee planned and reactive maintenance across three client sites, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on supervisory role, combining technical expertise with leadership and compliance responsibility.
Role Responsibilities
- Supervise and deliver electrical maintenance and repair works across multiple client sites.
- Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed in line with schedules and contractual requirements.
- Lead, manage and support a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with Mitie and site Health & Safety policies.
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS and site rules.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and actively participate in training, appraisals and development activities.
Required Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent electrical qualification.
- Ability to obtain SC Clearance.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in Supervising or Management in Facilities/Engineering.
- Strong experience in electrical installation, maintenance and repair work.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work or relevant compliance understanding.
- IT literacy, with the ability to accurately record work and documentation.
- Willingness to join a call-out rota and hold a full UK driving licence.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS/ECC and IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).
