Job Overview

  • Take full financial and commercial responsibility for a portfolio of contracts ensuring that the client cost effectively deliver contracted services as well as additional services, within legislative and contractual obligations.
  • Responsible for the pro-active financial support of the delivery teams to process monthly valuations, applications, forecasts and any variations
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate administration of contracts assigned including but not limited to the compilation and submission of Eo T requests, variations etc.

Ensure that contracts are correctly administered in accordance with the relevant legal framework.

  • In a timely manner to carry out financial forecasting and reporting of cost, sales, gross profit, and risk associated with all projects assigned to you.
  • Ensure that statutory obligations are met in full and ensure that the business is not exposed to undue risks, with regular reporting on mitigation measures.
  • Ensure that records, data and systems are maintained up to date and in accordance with standards, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships, develop, and maximise opportunities for additional revenue and margin and contract retention.
  • Work with all stakeholders to identify opportunities in line with business strategy.

What we are looking for

• Must have qualifications in one of the following

  • Quantity Surveying and/or Construction / Engineering Qualification (HND or Degree Level)
  • MRICS
  • CSCS card holder relevant to role
  • Can demonstrate leadership and management style in keeping with the clients brand image
  • Can demonstrate excellent analytical skills and has experience of Document Management Systems, Share Point, Dynamics CRM, Asta Powerproject, Excel, Anaplan or similar/equivalent packages
  • Has experience of working in an SME and can demonstrate an understanding of the need to have a broad business understanding
  • Maintain knowledge of the construction and engineering industry's statutory requirements, methods, differing building contract types and processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skill
  • Driving licence holder
