We are looking for a Water Technician – Level 1 who will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of water treatments for our customers. This role ensures that water is safe and meets regulatory standards.

Role Responsibilities:

  • TMV valve servicing both failsafe and strip down
  • Cleaning of the cooling towers & tanks (2nd person)
  • Tank inspections
  • Temperature monitoring and accurate recording of results
  • Sampling of domestic systems and accurate submission to the laboratory
  • Descaling and cleaning of showers & shower heads
  • Flushing of little-used outlets
  • Complete allocated jobs within the agreed timescales.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and submit on the electronic system in live time.
  • Carry out tasks allocated to you in accordance with all method statements and the fundamental rules of Marlowe Environmental Services.
  • Must not exceed one audit failure per year.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong basic water treatment knowledge with the ability to apply analytical, problem-solving and sound decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, good literacy, and strong client-service skills.
  • Excellent time management and administration abilities, including confidence using phone or tablet apps in line with our systems.
  • Demonstrates excellent time-keeping, cultural awareness, sound work ethics and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Holds a valid UK Driving Licence and meets compliant DBS and customer-specific security check requirements.
