As a Postal Concierge you will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards by providing a postal service for 2 of our client sites based in Scotland. The role is required to organise and coordinate incoming mail to site to distribute mail across to sites by using the in-house shuttle service, delivering letters, parcels, and collecting mail to be franked and re-posted back out. The role requires the individual to walk around both sites to distribute and collect the post throughout their shift.

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week: Monday - Thursday ONLY 8 Hours per day.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with queries on postal service
  • Liaise with cleaners, security & facilities when and where required
  • Post duties - role requires individual to walk around two sites distributing and collecting mail
  • Be trained to use a franking machine and maintain this service
  • Keep all post organised and up to date
  • Sort mail by hand, delivering and collecting mail & parcels
  • Load mailbags
  • Get signatures for some deliveries
  • Pick up mail from post boxes and multiple buildings based on site
  • Deal with wrongly addressed or returned mail
  • Report maintenance issues in all areas
  • Organise and arrange with customers regarding postal queries
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and good telephone manner
  • Daily/Weekly & Monthly audit check
  • Franking, collection and delivery of post, distribution and organisation
  • Monthly reporting
  • Use a computer/laptop to process mail
