The predicted salary is between 30000 - 36000 £ per year.

To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes. Delivering results that meet and/or exceed the Key Performance Indicators/Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract. To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge during incidents and coordinate effective responses.
  • Support the team to deliver a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure all team members understand lockdown, emergency, and critical incident procedures.
  • Maintain readiness through regular refresher training and spot checks.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.

Security Operations:

  • Ensure patrols are completed, recorded, and regularly monitored.
  • Conduct radio checks and maintain effective communication with the Security Control Room.
  • Report and elevate incidents, suspicious activity, equipment faults, and security concerns.
  • Conduct monthly one-to-ones and performance reviews.
  • Support attendance management, including Return to Work interviews.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members.
  • Oversee the training and induction of new staff.
  • Conduct investigations where necessary.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure all officers follow site procedures, risk assessments, and assignment instructions.
  • Maintain high standards of appearance, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Ensure security systems and equipment remain operational and effective.
  • Deliver clear shift handovers and team briefings.
  • Work closely with reception, event teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across all service providers and departments.
  • Deliver an outstanding security service focused on the safety and experience of colleagues, guests, and visitors at all times.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous Security Experience, managing a team of 6 or above.
  • Good literacy and communication skills and have excellent verbal and written English.
  • Knowledge of HR issues (investigations, grievances, attendance and disciplinaries).
  • Be computer and software literate - previous CCURE usage advantageous.
  • Reliability, self-motivation and ability to use own initiative and work without supervision.
  • The ability to solve problems, make decisions and prioritise.
  • The ability, tact and diplomacy to deal with people at all levels.
  • Self-confidence and an interest in self-development.
  • The nature of the role is such that it is essential that the post holder has and will maintain an excellent record of attendance and timekeeping.
