We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to join our team, supporting a range of Mitie clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to lead a cleaning team while ensuring consistently high service standards across routine, planned, and periodic cleaning operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting a team of cleaning operatives, including their recruitment, training, and ongoing development.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality cleaning services in line with agreed schedules, while monitoring performance to maintain consistent standards of cleanliness.
- Providing on-the-job training, particularly around Health & Safety procedures and technical cleaning guidance.
- Managing stock levels, ordering cleaning supplies, and overseeing the correct use of cleaning materials.
- Distributing uniforms and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Handling operational issues promptly and professionally, with escalation where necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning supervision or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
- Ability to organise workloads effectively and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
