We're looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

  • Type: Permanent
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00-15:00
  • Pay: £13.85
  • Location: St George's University Hospital, Blackshaw Road, Tooting

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain dining and service areas, including furniture, trolleys, and cleaning equipment.
  • Serve food in correct portions and wash dishes, cutlery, and catering equipment.
  • Clean all catering areas daily and follow health and safety standards.
  • Handle cash collection, banking, and maintain records and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and colleagues to deliver excellent service.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous catering experience in a similar environment (desirable).
  • Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (training provided if not held).
  • Adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
  • Passion for customer service and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident with strong organisational and time management skills.
