Overview

A multifaceted position where no two days are the same. A Facilities Assistant plays a vital role within the Facilities and Maintenance Team. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, contractors and suppliers, this role offers a pathway into Facilities Management and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out contractor inductions on behalf of Mitie and BAE, assisting with Health and Safety and Compliance.
  • Manage work orders to ensure that service delivery meets the Service Level Agreement (SLA) as detailed in the contract and carry out reactive requests to cover all Facilities service areas required by the Client and ensure a smooth running operation.
  • Ad hoc tasks such as collections from Goods In, contractor escorting, stock replenishment and generally managing the requirements of the office team.
  • General offices duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and archiving documents.
  • To commit and fully participate in training and understand and comply with company policies.
  • Be willing to undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
  • To continually promote \’team spirit\’ within the Facilities Team, recognising the importance of teamwork in achieving the departmental objectives and to contribute effectively.
