Job Overview

Ensure that JCA delivers their contracted fabric maintenance duties. Manage day-to-day reactive works in a safe and efficient manner within legislative and contractual obligations. Ensure that records are up-to-date and of the highest standard.

Main Duties

  • Perform fabric repairs of building services including fixtures and fittings.
  • Complete work record sheets and compliance documentation in accordance with contract SLAs.
  • Maintain regular communication with JCA site management team.
  • Adhere to company procedures, policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Provide cover and assistance for other team members.
  • Host and escort specialist subcontractors as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Present a professional image of JCA, exhibiting high levels of customer service.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in fabric repairs and maintenance to building envelopes, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Basic knowledge of L8 ACOP Legionella Awareness.
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Experience maintaining the fabric of commercial buildings.
  • IOSH Working Safely certification.
  • Understanding of safety best practices.
  • Minimum C+G in painting, decorating, carpentry/joinery, plumbing, or equivalent.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and open.
  • High-quality work standards and willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated and able to make decisions independently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to following policies and procedures.
