Job Overview
Ensure that JCA delivers their contracted fabric maintenance duties. Manage day-to-day reactive works in a safe and efficient manner within legislative and contractual obligations. Ensure that records are up-to-date and of the highest standard.
Main Duties
- Perform fabric repairs of building services including fixtures and fittings.
- Complete work record sheets and compliance documentation in accordance with contract SLAs.
- Maintain regular communication with JCA site management team.
- Adhere to company procedures, policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Provide cover and assistance for other team members.
- Host and escort specialist subcontractors as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Present a professional image of JCA, exhibiting high levels of customer service.
What we are looking for
- Experience in fabric repairs and maintenance to building envelopes, fixtures, and fittings.
- Basic knowledge of L8 ACOP Legionella Awareness.
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Experience maintaining the fabric of commercial buildings.
- IOSH Working Safely certification.
- Understanding of safety best practices.
- Minimum C+G in painting, decorating, carpentry/joinery, plumbing, or equivalent.
- Honest, trustworthy, and open.
- High-quality work standards and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated and able to make decisions independently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following policies and procedures.
