To ensure that JCA delivers their contracted fabric maintenance duties. Day to day reactive works in a safe and efficient manner within legislative and contractual obligations. Ensuring that records are up to date and of the highest standard.
Main Duties
- Day to day fabric repairs of building services including fixture and fittings.
- Completion of work record sheets and compliance documentation in accordance with contract SLA's.
- Regular communication with JCA site management team.
- Adhere to company procedures and policies, risk assessments and method statements.
- Providing cover and assisting for other team members.
- Hosting and escorting specialist sub contractors from time to time.
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to carry out such other duties as may be required and as may be assigned by the directors from time to time.
- Ensure a professional image of JCA is presented to clients and end users, exhibiting high levels of customer service in the delivery of work.
What we are looking for
- Fully conversant with fabric repairs and maintenance to the building envelope, fixture, and fittings.
- Having basic knowledge of L8 ACOP Legionella Awareness.
- Having worked in the industry for a minimum of 2 years.
- Having a basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Experience of maintaining the fabric of a building within a commercial environment.
- IOSH working safely.
- Awareness of working in a safe manner with regard to safety of others.
- Minimum of C + G painting and decorating, carpentry/joinery, plumbing or equivalent.
- Open, honest and trustworthy.
- Able to produce work of the highest standard and prepared to learn new skills in order to achieve this.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to make decisions and use own initiative.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Can-do attitude.
- Understand the importance of following policy and procedure.
