SHIFT: Day shift - 0600 - 1800, Night Shift 18:00-0600. Week 1 - 4 nights, 3 off. Week 2 - 3 days 1 off 3 nights. Week 3 - 3 off, 4 days. Week 4 - 7 off.

At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We’re looking for a Shift Electrical Engineer with HV experience to support the smooth, safe and continuous running of our fast‑paced plant.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete associated reports.
- Conduct fault‑finding, planned maintenance and reactive repairs for electrical plant.
- Support team members as directed by the Supervisor or Contract Manager.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within contractual time scales.
- Complete electrical installations and system upgrades on site.
- Supervise visiting sub‑contractors, ensuring safe and high‑quality work.
- Adopt a flexible approach to support other properties within the portfolio.
- Complete all documentation accurately and on time.
- Work safely and diligently, following company policies and procedures.
- Participate fully in training, appraisals and development activities.
- Undertake training in mechanical maintenance and assist the mechanical team when required.
Required Qualifications
- Recognised electrical qualification, apprenticeship, or time‑served experience.
- IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (highly advantageous but not essential).
- Experience in HV switching (highly advantageous but not essential).
- Experience working with power supplies, lighting, meters, circuit boards and pumps.
- Ability to anticipate, diagnose and repair faults.
- Capable of completing essential paperwork accurately and promptly.
