Job objectives and responsibilities:
You will form part of the on-site team and be responsible for carrying out a wide range of commercial electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs to the various LV electrical systems on site. You will also carry out a multitude of other service tasks unrelated to your primary trade at mentioned locations.
Main duties:
- Assist Contract Manager in organisation, management and co-ordination of on-site services to ensure service is maintained to the highest standard in all circumstances.
- Ability to carry out minor surveys and inspections.
- Simple report writing is essential to the role.
- Achieve contract SLA/KPI in all reactive/planned work orders across all service lines for the contract site.
- To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
- To learn, understand and comply with Client policies and procedures.
- To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner, using point of work risk assessments where required.
- To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- To attend and fully participate in training and the annual review/appraisal process as required.
- To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
- To ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and to assist in any training of the team.
- If requested, to assist with the monitoring and supervision of subcontractors on a day-to-day basis, including apprentices. This to include assisting with the processing and completion of college reports if required.
- To perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated water services equipment, including fault diagnostics and repair.
- Participate in adherence to Quality System documentation.
Person Specification:
- Experience in 3 phase and single phase Electrical Installations & Repair, motors, pumps and some controls are desirable.
- Competent LV Electrical installation and maintenance excluding testing.
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong customer care focus.
- Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge.
- Full and clean driving licence.
- Ability to work at heights is advantageous.
- Smart in appearance.
